OUR SHEPHERDS

The Late Pastor Derrick C. Gillis, Sr. was an awesome man. He was a 1974 Honors Graduate of the University of Florida. He received the Lord in 1977. God called him into ministry in 1978.

As a child Pastor Derrick made a promise to read the entire Bible; He fulfilled that promise.....

God gave Pastor Derrick a strategic blueprint, that enabled him to write and trademark, the "Two-year Through The Bible Course".  Successfully teaching 12-graduating classes, he was personally instrumental in hundreds of students reading the Bible from Genesis to Revelations.  Many of whom would go on to start ministries, as well as be great leaders and disciples of God!

The word of God tells us that "what we do for Christ shall last".  The impact of Pastor Derrick's commitment to God, is still very present!  Numerous ministries, and countless people still speak about the impact he made in their lives.  Till this day, most proclaim that Pastor Derrick, Sr, is one of the greatest teachers of the love and word of God.  His ability to quote the Bible, scripture, and verse is still mind-boggling for most, yet legendary to all that witnessed!  

 

We could list all of Pastor Derrick's accolades & accomplishments; However, to respect his legacy, as a humble servant of the Lord, the most important piece of information he would want you to know is "How Much God Loves You"!
