WELCOME to zoÉ-life christian center
We are also known as Zoé-Life Teaching Center. Zoé is the Greek word for "The God Kind Of Life". God gave this name to our founder, Derrick C. Gillis Sr. in 1983.
Included within the "Call and the Vision" of Zoé-life Christian Center, are these words:
“…..God told me that I was to do my part in perfecting the saints, to do the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ. God instructed me, to teach believers how to discover their place, calling and function, in His Body, and to provide an atmosphere and a place for them to develop and grow in that calling….”

The 2-Year Thru The Bible Course was written by Pastor Derrick to fulfill this teaching assignment. As a result, the TTBC has graduated hundreds of students, and is an arm of strength to the local churches. The Holy Bible is the student’s textbook: The course is taught at a pace that is doable for everyone: In 2 years, students read and study the entire bible, and are able to recall who Jesus is in every book!

Completing a “Test Yourself” becomes the student’s personal commentary, that bookmarks memorable bible highlights; and makes taking the actual test less stressful. Receiving the Certificate of Completion is wonderful, however the relationship that is formed with Word of God, and our savior Jesus Christ is the greatest reward!

THE vision
God spoke to me in November and December of 1983, and told me to establish Zoé -Life Christian Center, also Known as Zoé-Life teaching center.

Zoé is the Greek word for the God- kind OF LIFE.
​
God told me that i was to do my part in perfecting the saints. to do the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the the body of Christ.
​
God instructed me to teach believers how to discover their place, calling, and function in His Body. and to provide an atmosphere for them to develop and grow in that calling.
​
God further communicated to me, to be sure that all were filled with the Holy spirit and trained to hear His (God's) voice and learn how to flow with the Holy Spirit.
​
Zoé -Life is to be an Arm of Strength to the churches through various seminars and workshops. We are to be an outreach to the Ft. Lauderdale community and to the uttermost parts at large.
